NET-60

Last updated: August 2026

NET-60 is a payment term meaning the full invoice amount is due 60 days after the invoice date. It's one of the most common stated terms in construction supply — and one of the most commonly stretched in practice.

NET-60 on paper vs in practice

When the buyer's own cash tracks a draw schedule, a 60-day invoice pays when the draw lands, not when the calendar says. Pay-when-paid clauses make that explicit; slipping milestones make it routine. The stated term sets expectations; the project sets the date.

Offering NET-60 without carrying it

Yellowpay funds the supplier's whole invoice within 2 business days whatever term the buyer takes — NET-30 through NET-120 — and takes the buyer credit risk non-recourse. The supplier's cash no longer waits on the buyer's term.
